I'm following the flow of gravitating toward happiness tips and connecting people with ideas for simplifying their lives or enjoying the simpler things in lives.
There are so many little things in life that as adults we miss putting on our mental lists or building into our day, such as eating right, getting enough sleep, thinking positive and any number of what appear to be little things that are actually building blocks to our lives. They affect how we think and the decisions we make. And when ignored, a domino-effect occurs. I believe we need to slow down and care for ourselves before we can care for anyone else. And I feel I have learned this the very hard way.
I discovered yet another list in my 8 year old son's room last night. He established, in writing, rules for his room for his younger sister and #3 was, again, Be Happy.
